We need an easy-to-use platform that enables businesses to track and manage orders, monitor deliveries in real-time, and provide customers with up-to-date information on their packages. The solution should be reliable, fast, and enhance the customer experience from start to finish.

My Role

My role was to craft a simple, intuitive interface that makes the delivery process more efficient. I focused on designing key features like dashboard management, order tracking, and package monitoring to ensure users have clear insights into their deliveries. By utilizing clean layouts and real-time data integration, I aimed to provide both businesses and customers with a seamless experience, minimizing complexity while maximizing usability.

Complex Delivery Tracking:
Businesses and customers often face difficulties tracking deliveries in real time, leading to confusion and frustration when delays or issues arise.

We implemented real-time package tracking, giving businesses and customers clear visibility on the status, location, and estimated delivery times of their packages. This ensures complete transparency and enhances customer trust.

Disorganized Order Management:
Managing large volumes of orders can be overwhelming, especially when there’s no clear overview of order statuses, delivery stages, or performance metrics.

The Orders List feature provides businesses with an organized, easy-to-read view of all orders, with filters to sort by status, date, and more. This allows businesses to stay organized, prioritize efficiently, and ensure timely deliveries.

Inefficient Communication Between Businesses and Customers: Businesses and customers often struggle to communicate about delivery updates, resulting in missed delivery opportunities and dissatisfaction.

We created a Dashboard with real-time alerts and notifications, so both businesses and customers are immediately informed of any changes to delivery statuses. This proactive communication ensures fewer missed deliveries and increases customer satisfaction.

A user flow outlines the steps users take to accomplish tasks within the product, ensuring a smooth, logical, and intuitive experience from start to finish.

Wireframe

In the wireframing stage, I create low-fidelity sketches or prototypes of key screens, focusing on layout, structure, and functionality without the distraction of visual design. This allows me to test and refine the user experience early on.

In this stage, I build a design system that includes reusable components, style guides, and patterns. This ensures consistency across the product and makes future updates easier to manage.

At this stage, I focus on developing and integrating the features defined in earlier stages, ensuring they function as intended and meet the user and business requirements.

The Dashboard provides an at-a-glance view of all active and pending deliveries. Users can quickly see package status, key metrics, and any critical alerts, ensuring they stay on top of their deliveries without the need to navigate through multiple pages.

Explore Orders List

The Orders List is a detailed overview of all placed orders, allowing businesses to track order progress from initiation to completion. Users can filter by status, date, and other variables to easily manage large volumes of orders and ensure timely deliveries.

Package Tracking

With Package Tracking, customers and businesses can follow a delivery’s journey in real-time. This feature offers live updates on package location, estimated delivery time, and any changes in delivery status, providing complete transparency throughout the entire process.

Handoff To Developer

The final stage involves handing off the design to the development team, providing them with all necessary assets, specifications, and guidelines to bring the design to life seamlessly.

Conclusion
Results

I worked hard to create a modern and user-friendly interface that allows restaurant owners to easily manage their reservations and orders. With Tabela, I have streamlined the ordering process, reducing wait times for customers and increasing efficiency for restaurant staff.

Since the launch, I have seen a significant increase in the number of restaurants using Tabela to manage their operations.

I'm proud to have contributed to the success of my clients and are committed to further improving the Tabela platform to meet their evolving needs.
